Heading through the door of Kagura into the white-painted landscape outside, Sihyun spares a moment to let himself be grateful that it's nearly the end of the season. Ordinarily, there would be many more people outside here — some coming and going, some getting fresh air or just trying to escape the mistletoe for a while, some on their way around to the slopes for skiing or snowboarding. Now, instead, it's quiet. Not entirely so, an occasional passerby, but the last month that Kagura is open for the year always tends to be sparse in the number of guests, people evidently geared toward spring rather than winter, even with as chilly as it's remained this year. Up here, of course, it wouldn't make a difference anyway. The cold turns the tip of his nose pink, but his hand is warm and steady around Jae-eun's as he leads them a little ways away from the building, off toward the treeline, where they'll be unlikely to be interrupted.
In his other hand is the sheet music, and he doesn't know if he wants to hold it to his chest and treasure it or tear it into pieces. Even if he did know, it wouldn't be his decision. Jae had too many of those stolen from him already anyway; he isn't going to be the one to take another one. Besides, Sihyun suspects that if he sat down and tried to play it, he would still be able to do it all from memory anyway. It's been years now, a staggering fact in its own right, but that music became a part of him when he thought it was the only piece of Jae he had left.
Sometimes he wonders if he should say so, but if he should, now definitely isn't the time for it. Right now is about figuring out what Jae needs, and giving Jae space to figure that out too. When they come to a stop, he looks over with wide, dark eyes, concern and affection visible there in equal measure. "I think you're good to shout now, if you want to. Or not."
